ELECTRIC INSULATING RESIN KO-921 (SRE 21)*

FEATURES

Resin KO-921 (SRE 21)* is a clear homogenous solution of polymethylphenylsilxane resin in organic solvents. Polymethylphenylsiloxane resin is obtained by hydrolytic co-condensation of phenyltrichlorosilane and dimethyldichlorosilane with further polymerization.

APPLICATIONS

  • The electric machines and apparatus protection from mold and fungi
  • Glass winding of wires and cables impregnation. It is also used as impregnating and coating varnish, operating at +250°C
  • In food industry, the varnish is used as release agent for metal forms for baking meat
  • As a protective coat for metal forms for baking bread and biscuits

Advantages

  • Low drying temperature
  • Good dielectric properties
  • Good heat resistant (up to +250°С)
  • Protects the electric machines and apparatus from mold and fungi
  • Safe for food industry using (as a release coating for baking metal molds)
