ANTICORROSION RUBBER MASTIC ZHKMA

FEATURES

Two-component system consisting of rubber base and hardener mixed by customer immediately before use. In the cured condition, the anticorrosive mastic is a rubber-like material.

APPLICATIONS

  • In construction:
    • for the protection of concrete and metal surfaces from weather damage;
    • for bonding materials silicate based, bonding to concrete decorative items, small sealing of construction joints.

    In engineering:

    • for sealing the hatches, covers, controls, threaded connectors;
    • as gaskets for parts with a rough surface;
    • for sealing of cable entry devices and equipment.

    In electronics:

    • metal connections for sealing stainless steel, aluminium and titanium alloys;
    • sealing apparatus working in air at temperatures from -50 to 150 ° C and 250 ° C briefly before;
    • under the action of vibration, shock, and re-variable loads;
    • for the manufacture of gaskets, figured products in the casting.

Preparation of the surface
The concrete surface should be sanded before applying (in order to remove dirt and surface treatments) and dusted.
Metal surface prepared to the extent St3 or Sa2, 5, remove dust and grease.
Preparation of mastic
Working with the finished mastic controlled amount of catalyst and can be in the range from 0.5 to 3 hours. Before applying carefully interfere hardener (catalyst) in the required amount in the paste for a given time viability.
Infliction
Application mastic onto the surface is possible with a spatula or brush without additional solvents.
